Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bruno
has been playing with crayons since he can
remember, but he began pursuing formal artistic
training when he was given a scholarship in 1996
to study at the School of the Art Institute
of Chicago. While originally majoring in
graphic design, he ultimately gravitated
towards Traditional Animation, receiving
his degree from Columbia College Chicago
in 2002. Professionally, Bruno has done
everything from print design to working
on animated TV commercials.
Currently, he works for Midway Games as a
full-time Concept Artist, freelancing
as an illustrator for numerous organizations,
basically getting paid to play with crayons…
